That’s why we offer a safety deck evaluation service for home buyers, realtors, and anyone looking to check in on the safety of their deck. Our detailed deck safety evaluations are more specific than a general home inspection! We charge a flat rate of $300 for our deck evaluation services and this fee will be credited toward the cost of repairs if needed.

I wanted to share my experience working with TrueDecks on a big project that included a deck, a patio, and replacement of a fence.Timeline - everything from start to the end took a month. This includes permits, plans , design, proposals, etc. Salesman Fernando responded to all questions very quickly and never excused himself from being busy or on vacation. I think this is the fast you can get, given time others take to respond to your emails. Quick response is always appreciated.Scope - The project was delivered as discussed, despite the fact that some improper parts were delivered initially, but the firm took quick action to fix it and brought right color and right brand.Quality - With a few exceptions, work is done flawlessly. As an engineer, I noticed missing j channels around the deck, but it was fixed instantly. I had very high bar for every piece of the deck, and requested a crew to fix spacing between couple of the boards. At completion, deck had a perfect look with spacing between boards being 100% perfect, as expected. See photos. I didn't have any major comments on the patio, it had a perfect look, but I had to ask to put extra edges to be safe.Customer experience - Crew was friendly, focused on getting things done.Overall, I can't complain about anything. The job was well done , hope it will stay for the rest of my life. The team from TrueDecks did a fabulous job with repairs and adding 2 support posts to my 25 year old deck. Then they washed, prepped and painted it. It looks great! The team was professional, friendly, on-time and did a great job -- especially considering how hot it was on the days they were here. We had a relatively large project (demo of existing 1st floor deck, screened in porch and stone patio below before rebuilding everything brand new) and TrueDecks did wonders!We got 3 quotations from different contractors and although TrueDecks was not the cheapest, their price was competitive. However big plus for them was communication! TrueDecks was the only contractor to respond timely and to check in regularly during the bidding phase of the project (maybe even a bit too much to my liking but this is ok, they were motivated and wanted to win this project). That regular and seamless communication continued throughout the entirety of the project from the permit application, the actual work and even after the work was completed and I saw a few tiny things that still needed to be adjusted. I constantly felt the support of the entire team as well as their dedication to providing the highest customer satisfaction possible!About the work itself, I have nothing but praises for the teams! Incredible workers who worked quickly, hard and a lot! We were truly impressed as we saw them demolishing and rebuilding the new structures while always maintaining the yard as clean as possible. For sure the landscape and grass suffered a bit during the work, but the teams did a great job at minimizing their impacts on the property. This was not a requirement, but was highly appreciated.Ultimately, TrueDecks concluded the work in the expected timeframe (~5 weeks), and passed the county inspection without any issues.My only regret is that the project is now completed and that I will not have such amazing people taking care of our house anymore... ;)Lastly, special shootout to Franco, Pavel, Joselito, Chelsea as well as the team leader for the patio and the electrician whose names escape me now. DeckMasters, now TrueDecks, have being cleaning and staining my enclosed deck for many years and have always done an excellent job. They have also replaced the screening when needed. The guys from True Decks, Juan and Luis ( van #9) did a great job of cleaning the deck and fence, sanding the deck surface, and then staining the deck and fence.
We had Deck Master/ True Decks clean and stain our deck. They did a good job but we would have liked for them to secure loose nails better and to have been more careful with plants surrounding the decking.The deck looks good and we would welcome them to return in a few years to keep the decking in good condition but with attention to details.
They replaced some boards and refinished my 30-year-old deck—and made it look brand new. Totally professional from beginning to end in all aspects, and at a price that was a good value. These guys know what they’re doing, and the crew was a pleasure to have around. I will use them to keep my deck looking new in the future. Highest recommendation.

Our deck was in pretty bad shape. It needed cleaning, staining, a post replaced and leveling. They did a fantastic job. I also had them replace some fence posts and rails on a split rail fence. Very satisfied with the fence work as well.

DeckMaster is outstanding all around, from obtaining a quote, to service, to the project and final punch list. They are very responsive and on top of everything. I obtained them for two projects. A new front porch, with a gable roof, new paver decking, paver stairs, and railing system. Then a small side paver patio and new trex landing/decking/stairs and railing system coming from my kitchen access door. Deck Master achieved our vision of a minimalist and yet modern and low maintenance look to showcase new fresher style with less obstruction. Pavel, the project manager was professional and very responsive. The quotes he gave us was reasonable, affordable, and the workmanship was remarkable - even better than their most expensive competitor. Yelka has superb customer service and she really took care of our needs and questions. The work of the crew was meticulous. Had the best experience working with DeckMaster, Inc. My house has a historical designation which requires extra permitting and permission. Jose took care of all of that and he and his team fully replaced the existing deck with a much sturdier, better designed one. The whole process was smooth and efficient once the permitting was over, and I look forward to the final painting and finishing in the spring.
Deck Master (1) removed our old rotting ground level wooden deck and replaced it with a beautiful paver patio with sitting walls (2) replaced our deteriorating porch wooden steps with composite vinyl/trex lighted steps (3) replaced our porch screens, cleaned and stained porch all fascia boards including vinyl cladding on vertical fascia. All work was done in a very professional way with separate crews that specialized in the work that needed to be done including the demolition. Each crew would show up and work until work was completed and then clean up and remove all construction debris. Crews and construction managers and office managers were friendly and responsive to our concerns. All materials and installation were top quality resulting in an impressive finished product. I highly recommend Deck Master.
DeckMaster did a great job of replacing our old deck with a Trex structure that looks beautiful & substantial. The initial estimate was timely, accurate & reasonably priced. The installers were prompt, courteous & carefully cleaned up when finished. My emails & phone calls to them were promptly responded to. I recommend DeckMaster highly.
